Lapsus on Purpose is a new trio formed in March 2025

to explore new musical playgrounds at the intersection of rock

and improvised music.

With amplified cello and bass transformed through

effects and extended techniques and a raw, incisive drum set,

the trio shapes an intense and contrasting

sonic landscape.

Our music moves between hypnotic repetitions,

unexpected breaks, and moments of trance.

The dialogue between acoustic and electronic textures

allows us to explore a dense, gritty, sometimes minimalist

sound world, constantly in flux.
